Arman Tahil

 1.      What were you doing before becoming an actor?

   I studied science in high school and later on pursued Mechanical Engineering but was not interested in making a career in it. I worked as an RJ for AIR in Delhi and also hosted a quiz program on door darshan by the name of Challenge the Master. Apart from all this, I used to do business in medical surgical projects and also was a theater artist.

2.    Any specific interest for entering the acting industry?

Though I was already earning good money in my business and other activities yet I felt incomplete and always felt myself being attracted towards the media field, I felt my soul belongs here and I wrapped up my business and gave it to my cousin. I started with theater, modeling, stunt shows, etc. and later on started working in TV serials and ads in Delhi. I was selected in the Shekhar Suman show and was called to Mumbai. I also felt the industry in not in Delhi and so came to Mumbai with all certificates from the national school of drama. I did few print ads for sherwani suits and much more until 2005. As I got more into the industry I started acting in TV serials and earned a greater name in it, I have done more than 100 TV serials and all are my favorite. But I always liked working for movies as there’s a lot to explore new places and also meet new people. TV serials give a gradual fame but movies have a different level of popularity. As compared to TV serials, movies have a relaxed atmosphere.

3.     Where do you see yourself in the next couple of years?

I have always been more interested in movies and already have 5-6 movies coming up, few shoots have started and waiting for them to get published with a very good publicity. 

4.      Are your family members and relatives happy with you as an actor?

 My family was on both sides as in my mother was happy for me and supporting whereas my dad was a bit angry taking my acting career. I have a sister who is an IT engineer in the US, she always watches it in the US with English subtitles and many times also records and sends to me. She is a great support to me.

5.    Personal life

 I like to go out clubbing and watching movies with friends. All my college friends are married so mostly I am with my industry friends.

6.       Your friendly note.

I like good people and a good team. I’m a very extrovert person and get friendly with most of the people but stay away from people with ego and attitude.
